Privacy policy

What this policy covers
Birdwell Labs, LLC operates https://birdwellabs.com and RuneScape Wiki MCP at runescape-wiki-mcp.fly.dev. This policy covers those services and inquiries you send to us. Other Birdwell Labs apps may have their own privacy policies. This policy does not replace them.
Website visits, email and bookings
Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical information such as your IP address, browser information, requested pages and request times to deliver and protect this website. The website's company-information MCP server returns public studio information and booking links.
If you email us or book a call through Cal.com, we receive the contact details and information you choose to provide. We use them to respond, arrange meetings and provide services you request. Email and scheduling providers process that information as part of delivering their services.
RuneScape Wiki MCP
This service does not require an account or game credentials. It receives the tool requests your MCP client sends, including values such as item names or IDs, wiki page titles and public RuneScape player names, along with connection and client metadata. We use those values to answer your request. The server does not request your full chat history or personal files.
To retrieve game information, we send the relevant lookup values to Jagex, Weirdgloop or the RuneScape Wiki. The service runs on Fly.io. Your chat provider, such as Anthropic or OpenAI, handles your conversation under its own policies and your account settings. Please keep passwords, access tokens and private information out of tool requests.
Diagnostics and usage measurement
We use hosting logs and Sentry error and performance monitoring to investigate failures, protect the service and understand its reliability. Diagnostic records can include request metadata, tool names, input values and returned game data. Debug logging, when enabled, can also include requests and responses.
When usage analytics is enabled for RuneScape Wiki MCP, PostHog receives operational events such as tool names, request identifiers, success status, duration and service version. That analytics integration does not send raw tool arguments or result content as event properties.
Browser storage and other services
This website uses browser storage to remember your theme preference. We do not add advertising pixels to this website or use the RuneScape MCP service to target advertising. External sites, including booking services, chat providers and the apps linked from this website, have their own policies and storage practices.
Sharing and retention
Information is processed by the service providers described above for hosting, communication, scheduling, diagnostics, analytics and game lookups. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to address abuse or protect the service. Birdwell Labs is based in the United States; providers may process information in other countries.
Retention depends on the type of information and why it is needed, including responding to inquiries, providing requested services, troubleshooting, security and legal obligations. Hosting logs and monitoring records are subject to the relevant provider settings. Contact us for details or to request deletion.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can stop MCP requests by disconnecting the service in your chat client. You can clear browser storage in your browser settings. To ask about your information or request access, correction or deletion, email josh@birdwellabs.com. We may need enough information to identify the relevant records and verify your request. We handle requests subject to applicable law and any records we must retain.
These services are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us at the same address. For changes to public game or wiki records, contact the provider that maintains those records.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Questions can be sent to josh@birdwellabs.com.
